Electrician

About the role

We are seeking a hands-on and technically strong Electrician to support the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and improvement of our facilities. The role will focus on electrical systems and specialist equipment including saunas, ice baths, hot baths and associated water treatment, heating, cooling, circulation and control systems. A key requirement is the ability to communicate effectively in Chinese with suppliers and manufacturers in China for technical discussions, troubleshooting, equipment specifications, spare parts, warranty matters and installation support.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, inspect and troubleshoot electrical systems, control panels, wiring, sensors and related facility equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot sauna systems.
• Maintain ice bath systems, including chillers, pumps, filtration, circulation, temperature controls and associated components.
• Maintain hot bath / jacuzzi systems, including heaters, pumps, filtration, circulation and temperature control systems.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance and ensure faults are resolved promptly to minimize operational downtime.
• Support installation, testing, commissioning and takeover of new equipment and facility systems.
• Diagnose problems and coordinate repairs with internal teams, contractors, manufacturers and suppliers.
• Liaise directly with Chinese suppliers and manufacturers for technical specifications, troubleshooting, quotations, spare parts, warranty claims and after-sales support.
• Coordinate procurement of replacement parts and technical equipment, ensuring correct specifications before ordering.
• Maintain equipment records, maintenance schedules, manuals, warranties, service reports and spare-parts inventories.

About you

• Diploma, Higher NITEC, Degree or relevant technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management or a related discipline.

• Preferably 3-5 years of relevant hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, M&E, spa/wellness equipment, pools or similar environments.

• Practical electrical troubleshooting experience, including the ability to understand electrical drawings, control panels, wiring diagrams and equipment schematics.

• Hands-on experience with sauna, ice bath, hot bath, jacuzzi, pool, chiller, heating, pump, filtration or water circulation systems is strongly preferred.

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability, with a practical approach to repairs and maintenance.

• Able to read technical drawings, manuals, specifications and equipment documentation.

• Experience in reading and writing to Chinese equipment manufacturers or technical suppliers will be a strong advantage.

• Comfortable working independently and coordinating with multiple contractors or suppliers.
