Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and local electrical codes, including NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards). Duties

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately execute electrical work.
• Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely in accordance with NFPA 70 and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
• Diagnose electrical issues through systematic troubleshooting of industrial electrical systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low-voltage circuits.
• Ensure all work adheres to electrical safety procedures, local electrical codes, and industry best practices to prevent hazards or accidents.
• Conduct renovations on existing electrical systems and assist in construction projects by installing new wiring infrastructure.
• Use hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers, as well as power tools like drills and saws to complete installation and repair tasks efficiently.

Experience

• Proven experience as an electrician in industrial settings with a strong background in industrial electrical systems.
• Commercial electrician experience with knowledge of commercial electrical systems installation and maintenance.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70 compliance standards for high-voltage wiring and safety procedures.
• Skilled in electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting complex electrical systems, reading blueprints, schematics, and electrical blueprints.
• Hands-on experience working on construction sites or renovation projects involving electrical wiring and system upgrades.
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and the use of testing instruments such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.
• Ability to interpret local electrical codes accurately and ensure all work meets regulatory requirements.
• Previous handyman or construction experience is a plus for versatile problem-solving across various projects.
