Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Residential & Commercial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience performing electrical installations, repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance in both residential and commercial settings. This position requires strong attention to detail, and the ability to provide quality workmanship while maintaining professional relationships with customers and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot residential and commercial electrical systems.
• Install wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, panels, breakers, disconnects, and other electrical components.
• Read and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Perform electrical service upgrades, remodels, new construction, and repair work.
• Diagnose electrical problems and determine appropriate solutions.
• Install and troubleshoot lighting, receptacles, switches, circuits, and electrical equipment.
• Perform electrical inspections and testing to ensure systems operate safely and properly.
• Work with 120V, 240V, and other applicable electrical systems.
• Install and maintain electrical panels and distribution equipment.
• Complete electrical work in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and company standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Safely operate electrical tools, equipment, ladders, and lifts.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, customers, general contractors, and other trades.
• Explain electrical issues and recommended repairs to customers when necessary.
• Complete service documentation, job notes, and material lists accurately.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively.
• Perform other duties related to electrical installation and service as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous residential and/or commercial electrical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with NEC requirements and local electrical codes.
• Ability to use electrical testing equipment such as multimeters and voltage testers.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to safely lift materials, climb ladders, work in crawl spaces/attics, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Professional attitude and strong customer-service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Electrical journeyman license or applicable state/local electrical certification.
• Completion of an electrical apprenticeship or technical training program.
• Experience with residential new construction and remodels.
• Experience with commercial tenant build-outs and service work.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical issues independently.
• OSHA safety training.
