Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial and commercial electrical systems, including high-voltage wiring and low-voltage circuits.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and troubleshooting.
• Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify issues quickly and efficiently.
• Follow NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association code for electrical safety) standards and local electrical codes during all work activities.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems on construction sites or renovation projects, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum safety.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform wiring, conduit bending, panel installation, and system upgrades.
• Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial automation systems, or high-voltage systems.

Skills

• Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems.
• Extensive knowledge of NFPA 70 compliance standards, NEC (National Electrical Code), and local electrical codes.
• Skilled in electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting electrical systems efficiently using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
• Ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints accurately.
• Experience working with low voltage systems, high-voltage wiring, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), and automation controls.
• Familiarity with construction site procedures, renovation projects, and general handyman skills related to electrical work.
• Strong commitment to electrical safety procedures to prevent hazards during installation or repair activities.

Pay: $26.00 - $55.00 per hour
