Electrician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and industrial settings. Duties

• Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, circuits, panels, and equipment in commercial and industrial environments
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute precise installations and repairs
• Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify issues quickly and accurately
• Troubleshoot complex electrical systems including low voltage controls, high-voltage wiring, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to restore optimal functionality
• Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, the National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA 70 standards, and safety procedures
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent failures and extend equipment lifespan
• Use hand tools and power tools safely while adhering to electrical safety procedures during installation or repair tasks

Experience

• Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems
• Hands-on experience with high-voltage electrical wiring and low voltage systems in construction or renovation projects
• Familiarity with reading electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for accurate implementation of projects
• Knowledge of local electrical codes, NFPA 70 compliance standards, NEC regulations, and safety protocols
• Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters
• Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects involving electrical system upgrades or new installations
• Prior handyman or construction experience is a plus for versatile problem-solving skills
