Responsibilities

• Key Responsibilities and Duties

* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential properties.

* Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs to ensure optimal functionality.

* Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards during installation and maintenance tasks.

* Collaborate with other trades people to complete projects on time and within specifications.

* Undertake a wide range of electrical works including electrical installation condition reports and remedial works, new installations, fuse board upgrades, fault finding and general electrical repairs

* Maintain accurate records of work completed, including materials used and time spent on each task on a PDA.

Requirements

* Proven experience as an Electrician with solid knowledge of electrical systems.

* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

* Demonstrable electrical experience with a strong understanding of wiring practices, circuitry, and safety standards.

* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

* Good face-to face communication skills with the ability to engage confidently and professionally with our customers.

Skills

• Proficiency with hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, etc., for precise electrical work.
• Experience operating power tools including drills, saws, and testing equipment essential for installation and repairs.
• Strong electrical experience with a solid understanding of wiring methods, circuit design, and safety standards.
• Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting electrical issues.
• Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Commitment to safety practices and adherence to local electrical codes and regulations.

Pay: £36,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
