Electrician

Overview

Join our team and bring your expertise to residential/commercial electrical systems, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable electrical installations and repairs. In this role, you will work on a variety of projects including new construction, renovations, and troubleshooting existing electrical setups.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial properties, including wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and high-voltage components.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and troubleshooting.
• Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and power tools to identify issues quickly and efficiently.
• Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, local electrical codes, and safety procedures to guarantee the highest safety standards.
• Perform high-voltage electrical wiring for appliances or systems requiring specialized handling while following strict safety protocols.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and construction site experience to execute projects with precision and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members on renovation projects or new construction sites, contributing to framing carpentry or handyman tasks as needed.
• Adhere to electrical safety procedures during all phases of work to prevent accidents or hazards on-site.
• Document work activities thoroughly through reports and logs for project tracking and quality assurance.

Experience

• Proven electrical experience with a strong understanding of local electrical codes and safety standards.
• Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and low-voltage systems is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of industrial electrician practices or commercial electrician experience is a plus for versatile project handling.
• Skilled in electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting complex issues using testing equipment like ohmmeters and multimeters.
• Familiarity with high-voltage electrical wiring techniques for both renovation projects and new installations.
• Construction site experience that demonstrates ability to work efficiently in dynamic environments while maintaining safety compliance.
• Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret schematics for various electrical systems.
• Hands-on experience with NFPA 70 compliance requirements ensures adherence to all safety regulations during installation or repairs.
