Electrician

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various settings, including commercial, industrial, and construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of systems.
• Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other specialized equipment to perform precise electrical work.
• Work on low voltage and high voltage systems while adhering to safety standards outlined by the NEC (National Electrical Code) and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects, framing carpentry tasks, and general handyman duties related to electrical installations.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems on construction sites to identify potential issues before they escalate.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, including logs of inspections, repairs, and system upgrades.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols.
• Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automation processes.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment.
• Knowledge of NEC standards for safe electrical installation and maintenance practices.
• Experience working on construction sites with a focus on renovation projects is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
• Valid electrician license or certification as required by local regulations is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level roles. Pay: $25.65 - $35.12 per hour
