Job Overview

Heatwise Gas & Electrical Ltd is an established and growing electrical, heating and renewable energy company based in Pontefract, West Yorkshire.

We specialise in domestic electrical work alongside solar PV, battery storage, EV charging, air conditioning and heat pump installations.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Electrician to join our team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an electrician who enjoys varied work and wants the opportunity to develop their experience across both traditional electrical installations and renewable technologies.

The Role

The successful candidate will carry out a range of domestic electrical work across West Yorkshire, including:

-Domestic electrical installations and upgrades

-Consumer unit replacements and upgrades

-Rewires and partial rewires

-Fault finding and repairs

-Inspection and testing

-EV charger installations

-Electrical work associated with heat pump installations

-Solar PV and battery storage installations

-Air conditioning electrical installations

-General electrical maintenance

-Completing electrical certification and job paperwork

-Working directly with customers in their homes

The role will involve working both independently and alongside other members of the Heatwise team, depending on the project

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Fully qualified as an electrician
• 18th Edition
• Experienced in domestic electrical work
• Relevant electrical qualifications (NVQ Level3 / AM2 or equivalent)
• Inspection & testing qualification preferred
• Reliable, punctual and organised
• Professional and customer-focused
• Able to maintain a high standard of workmanship
• Comfortable completing job paperwork and certification
• A full UK driving licence holder

Pay: £38,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
