Location: Spartanburg, SC 29304

Pay Rate: $28.00/hr

Description: Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Install EMT conduit of sizes 1/2 inch to 3 inches.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
• Inspect electrical components such as transformers, circuit breakers, and wiring to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety codes.
• Diagnose electrical problems using testing equipment such as multimeters, voltage testers, and oscilloscopes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to understand system layouts and wiring paths.
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent issues and ensure optimal performance.
• Adhere to local and national electrical codes and regulations during installations and repairs.
• Collaborate with other team members, contractors, or clients to coordinate electrical projects and ensure timely completion.
• Test electrical systems and components after installation or repair to verify proper operation.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized testing equipment relevant to electrical work.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring practices, and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with commonly used electrical components, materials, and fixtures.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail when diagnosing and repairing electrical issues.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks, such as lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
• Effective communication skills to interact with team members, supervisors, and clients.
• Knowledge of relevant local and national electrical codes and standards.
