Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Solar Electrician to support the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of rooftop solar PV systems. The candidate will be responsible for electrical work at project sites, ensuring proper wiring, connections, testing, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electrical systems for rooftop solar PV projects.
• Perform DC and AC wiring and cable termination for solar installations.
• Install and connect solar inverters, ACDB, DCDB, isolators, MCBs, MCCBs, SPDs, and other electrical components.
• Carry out proper cable routing, dressing, termination, and labelling.
• Connect solar panels and prepare panel strings as per the approved system design.
• Perform electrical testing and basic troubleshooting of solar PV systems.
• Check voltage, current, continuity, polarity, and insulation as required.
• Identify and rectify electrical faults at project sites.
• Assist in inverter installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Install and maintain proper earthing and lightning protection systems.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers and other installation team members during project execution.
• Follow electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation instructions.
• Ensure proper quality of electrical installation and workmanship.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and attend service requirements at customer sites.
• Maintain tools, testing equipment, and other company-provided assets properly.
• Report site issues, material requirements, and completed work to the Reporting Manager.
• Follow all company safety procedures and use appropriate PPE while working.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the work area.

Required Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience as an electrician is preferred.
• Experience in solar installation will be an added advantage.
• Freshers with relevant electrical qualifications and a willingness to learn may also be considered.
• Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, tools, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read basic electrical drawings is preferred.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of electrical wiring and connections.
• Knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems.
• Basic troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to use a multimeter and other electrical testing equipment.
• Good understanding of electrical safety and PPE.
• Ability to work at heights safely.
• Teamwork and coordination skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned work within deadlines.
• Willingness to travel to different project sites.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
