Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and industrial settings. Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments, ensuring adherence to local electrical codes and NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system layouts.
• Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to identify faults or system inefficiencies.
• Conduct high-voltage electrical wiring work safely on industrial systems while following strict electrical safety procedures.
• Install and maintain low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and other automation components essential for industrial operations.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and construction site equipment effectively to complete electrical installations or repairs efficiently.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical systems involving commercial electrical systems, industrial machinery, or renovation projects with precision.
• Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA 70 standards, and local regulations related to electrical wiring and safety protocols.
• Read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately to guide installation or repair activities on various projects.
• Collaborate with other trades such as frame carpentry or handyman services during renovation or construction projects when necessary.

Experience

• Proven experience as an electrician in industrial settings with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and commercial electrical systems.
• Demonstrated ability to perform high-voltage wiring tasks safely while adhering to all safety procedures.
• Hands-on experience reading blueprints, schematics, and electrical schematics for complex projects.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques using diagnostic tools like voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other testing devices.
• Construction site experience involving new installations or renovation projects is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of local electrical codes including the NEC (National Electrical Code) is essential for compliance.
• Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and automation components is a plus.
• Ability to operate power tools safely while maintaining a focus on quality workmanship in fast-paced environments.

Pay: $35.00 - $52.00 per hour
