Electrician

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, andrepair electrical systems incommercial and industrial environments. The idealcandidate has 2–4+ years of commercial electricalexperience, strong knowledgeof NEC standards, and the ability to read blueprints, bend and install conduit,pulland terminate wires, and use electrical tools and equipment safely. Candidatesshould be self-motivated,detail-oriented, physically capable, and committed toteamwork, safety, quality workmanship, andcontinuous professional development.

Duties

• Install, maintain, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, circuits, panels, equipment, and control systems in commercial and industrial facilities.

• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, technical drawings,and project specificationsto ensure accurate installations.

• Bend, fabricate, and install conduit systems, including PVC, EMT, rigid, flexible metallic conduit, and MC cable.

• Pull, route, size, and terminate electrical wiring and cables, ensuring proper connections, organization, and compliance with project drawings.

• Troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment using diagnostic tools, including voltmeters, and other testing instruments.

• Install and maintain electrical components, control panels, and industrial equipment in accordance with applicable electrical codes and safety standards.

• Perform electrical inspections, identify potential hazards or equipment failures, and complete repairs to minimize downtime.

• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment, including band saws, reciprocating saws, magnetic drills, knockout kits, and crimping tools.

• Follow National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA 70, and applicable local electrical codes, along with established safety procedures.

• Work safely at heights and in confined spaces while using ladders, scissor-lifts, scaffolding, and other approved access equipment.

• Collaborate with project managers, journeyman electricians, apprentices, and other trades people to complete projects on schedule.

• Measure, lay out, and install electrical infrastructure accurately, maintaining attention to detail and dimensional tolerances specified in project drawings.

• Maintain an organized and safe work environment, manage assigned tasks independently, and continuously develop technical skills to support project quality and company objectives.

Most of our work is for in-house commercial and industrial fabrication jobs as well as commercial and industrial electrical specific and general contracting projects. All projects require basic knowledge of electrical trade, installs, service, and mechanical installations.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 48.0 per week
