Electrician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial and highrise residential electrical work and be proficient in reading blueprints and understanding the National Electrical Code (NEC). This role involves working on construction sites, utilizing various power tools, and ensuring the safe installation and maintenance of electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with NEC standards.
• Roughing wire, panel work, conduit installation and bending.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Utilize power tools and testing equipment such as ammeters and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Perform high voltage installations and maintenance tasks safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or areas for improvement.
• Engage in frame carpentry as needed for electrical installations or modifications.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on-site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety practices.
• Ability to operate various power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
• Knowledge of high voltage systems is preferred.
• Certification or relevant qualifications in electrical work is a plus.

Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour
