Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure all electrical work complies with local electrical codes, NFPA 70 standards (National Electrical Code), and safety procedures. Duties

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical blueprints to accurately execute wiring layouts and system configurations.
• Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely in accordance with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) and local electrical codes.
• Diagnose electrical issues through systematic troubleshooting of complex industrial electrical systems using advanced diagnostic techniques including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation equipment.
• Install and maintain low voltage systems such as security alarms, communication networks, and control panels while adhering to safety procedures.
• Conduct renovations on existing electrical systems, ensuring compliance with current standards while minimizing downtime on construction sites or facilities.
• Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments to complete electrical wiring projects efficiently and safely.
• Read electrical schematics and blueprints accurately to plan wiring routes and system layouts for new installations or repairs.
• Follow all safety procedures related to electrical work to prevent accidents or injuries on construction sites or within industrial facilities.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an electrician in industrial settings with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and commercial electrical systems.
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, technical diagrams, and electrical blueprints effectively.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, local electrical codes, and safety procedures related to high-voltage wiring.
• Experience troubleshooting complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, clamp meters, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Hands-on experience with low voltage systems including security alarms, communication wiring, automation controls, and control panels.
• Ability to work on construction sites with construction experience or renovation projects preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent manual dexterity with hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers along with power tools necessary for installation tasks.
• Valid licensing or certification as required by local authorities; additional certifications in industrial or commercial electrical work are a plus.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
