Electrician

Role Description The Electrician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai. The Electrician is responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across hotel facilities, ensuring safe and efficient operations. Daily tasks include troubleshooting electrical faults, performing preventive maintenance, responding to guest and staff service requests, and supporting energy efficiency initiatives. The role also involves collaborating with maintenance and engineering teams, adhering to safety standards and local regulations, and keeping accurate records of work performed.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong practical skills in electricity and electrical work, including installation and wiring.
• Candidates should possess skills in maintenance & repair of electrical systems and equipment within commercial or hospitality environments.
• Candidates should possess troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve electrical faults and system issues efficiently.
• Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of electrical engineering principles relevant to building and hotel operations.
• Relevant technical certification or diploma in electrical trades or engineering is preferred.
• Working knowledge of local electrical codes, safety standards, and permit requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, plans, and technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or shifts as required.
