Electrician

YOUR ROLE As an electrician, you and your colleagues are responsible for the maintenance and repair of mobile diesel generators (power packs) that are used on board seagoing vessels. These are mounted in 20ft or 40ft containers and range from 250KVA to 1500KVA. This includes preventive maintenance, diagnosis + repairs, testing, connection on board ships,... . You also supervise order, cleanliness and safety.

YOUR PROFILE

• You have a strong affinity with technology or you have had a technical education.
• You have several years of experience as an electrician.
• You speak good English
• Do you also speak other (Eastern European) languages? That's definitely a plus
• You can read an electrical diagram and know the electrical components in a cabinet
• You can keep a cool head and set priorities.
• You work accurately and punctually.
• Obviously, you are a team player
• Occasional overtime and weekend work do not scare you.
