Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and industrial settings. Duties

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, circuits, and systems in commercial and industrial environments using hand tools and power tools.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring layouts and system configurations.
• Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify faults or issues within complex electrical systems.
• Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC (National Electrical Code), local electrical codes, and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Install high-voltage electrical wiring and industrial electrical systems while adhering to safety standards for high-voltage environments.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems including low voltage controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and other automation components used in industrial settings.
• Conduct routine maintenance on electrical systems during renovation projects or construction site activities to prevent future failures or hazards.
• Collaborate with other trades such as frame carpentry or handyman services when necessary to support comprehensive project completion.

Skills

• Proven experience as an electrician in industrial and commercial settings with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems.
• Extensive knowledge of NFPA 70 compliance standards, NEC regulations, and local electrical codes.
• Skilled in reading electrical blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and blueprints for accurate installation and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in using hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, pliers), power tools (e.g., drills), testing devices (voltmeters, ohmmeters), and specialized equipment for high-voltage wiring.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing issues within complex electrical systems efficiently.
• Experience working on high-voltage electrical wiring projects with safety as the top priority.
• Ability to interpret technical schematics related to industrial automation including PLCs.
• Knowledge of low voltage wiring systems used in commercial applications.
• Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and experience working on renovation projects or new builds.
• Excellent reading skills for technical documents such as blueprints and schematics; ability to translate these into practical work plans.

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
