Electrician

Position Summary

We are looking for skilled and experienced Telecom Electrician Technicians to support electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and power-related activities at telecom sites across Pakistan. The ideal candidate should have practical experience with telecom power systems, DGs, batteries, rectifiers, ATS panels, AC/DC systems, and site electrical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting at telecom sites.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of DG sets, ATS panels, rectifiers, battery banks, SMPS, AC/DC power systems, and distribution panels.
• Inspect and maintain telecom site electrical power systems to ensure reliable operation.
• Diagnose electrical faults and take corrective action to minimize site downtime.
• Perform installation and termination of electrical cables, DBs, breakers, earthing systems, and related equipment.
• Conduct routine inspection of battery banks, power distribution systems, and site electrical equipment.
• Support DG installation, shifting, commissioning, and operational activities.
• Perform electrical measurements and basic testing using appropriate tools and instruments.
• Ensure proper cable dressing, termination, labeling, and electrical connections.
• Assist in installation and maintenance of solar power systems and hybrid power solutions where required.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, O&M teams, and project staff for timely resolution of electrical issues.
• Prepare basic maintenance/service reports and maintain records of completed work.
• Respond to emergency electrical faults and breakdowns as required.
• Follow company HSE procedures and ensure safe working practices at all times.
• Travel and work at different telecom sites across Pakistan as per project requirements.

Qualification

• DAE Electrical / Diploma in Electrical Technology or equivalent technical qualification.
• Candidates with relevant technical certifications and practical telecom experience will be preferred.

Experience & Skills

• 1–4 years of hands-on experience as an Electrician, Electrical Technician, or Telecom Power Technician.
• Practical knowledge of DG, ATS, rectifier, SMPS, battery banks, DBs, breakers, earthing, and power distribution systems.
• Basic understanding of telecom site power architecture.
• Ability to read basic electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Good troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Familiarity with electrical testing instruments and tools.
• Strong safety awareness and disciplined working approach.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel and work at remote sites across Pakistan.

Important Requirement

This is a field-based position. Candidates must be willing to travel extensively and work at telecom project sites across Pakistan.

Candidates with previous experience in Telecom O&M, TowerCo, MNO, or telecom infrastructure projects will be preferred.
