Duties

• Install new electrical systems, wiring, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures in accordance with safety standards and technical specifications
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on existing electrical equipment to prevent failures
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems using hand tools and power tools, ensuring quick resolution of issues
• Repair or replace faulty wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, or other electrical components as needed
• Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, inspections completed, and parts used for each project
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects efficiently and safely

Requirements

• Proven experience working as an Electrician or in a similar electrical role with hands-on electrical experience
• Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and multimeters
• Skilled in operating power tools including drills, saws, and voltage testers safely and effectively
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and safety protocols
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions accurately
• Valid electrician’s license or certification as required by local regulations (if applicable)
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
