Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and industrial settings. Duties

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system layouts
• Perform high-voltage electrical wiring and low-voltage system installations in compliance with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association) standards and NEC (National Electrical Code) regulations
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they escalate
• Diagnose complex electrical problems using advanced troubleshooting techniques involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and diagnostic testing
• Ensure all work adheres to electrical safety procedures and local electrical codes to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others
• Collaborate with construction teams during renovation or new build projects, providing expert electrical support while adhering to project timelines

Skills

• Extensive experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems
• Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
• Knowledge of NFPA 70 compliance standards, NEC regulations, and local electrical codes
• Skilled in troubleshooting complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and power tools
• Experience working with high-voltage wiring systems safely in industrial or construction environments
• Ability to install and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation processes
• Strong understanding of low voltage systems, electrical wiring techniques, and schematic reading for diverse projects
• Familiarity with construction site procedures including framing carpentry and handyman tasks related to electrical work
• Demonstrated commitment to following electrical safety procedures at all times during installation or repair activities
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying issues quickly and efficiently

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
