Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and local electrical codes, including NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code). Duties

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and equipment in commercial and industrial environments
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute projects
• Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify issues efficiently
• Conduct high-voltage electrical wiring work safely in accordance with NFPA 70 standards and local electrical codes
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively for installation, maintenance, and repair tasks on various electrical systems
• Ensure all work adheres to electrical safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe working environment
• Collaborate with construction teams during renovation or new build projects to install or upgrade electrical infrastructure
• Troubleshoot complex electrical systems including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems to resolve issues promptly

Requirements

• Proven experience as an electrician with a strong background in residential and commercial electrical systems
• Knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC (National Electrical Code), and local electrical codes
• Ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
• Experience working on industrial electrical systems, high-voltage wiring, and low-voltage circuits
• Proficiency with testing instruments such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and troubleshooting tools
• Construction site experience with the ability to adapt quickly to changing environments
• Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents or hazards
• Hands-on experience with installation of electrical wiring in renovation or new construction projects
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment efficiently for various electrical tasks
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on troubleshooting complex electrical issues swiftly

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
