Electrician

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair work within the HPCL plant.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical panels, motors, pumps, starters, lighting systems and power distribution equipment.
• Inspect and maintain MCC panels, PCC panels, MCBs, MCCBs, contactors, relays and electrical wiring.
• Identify electrical faults and ensure timely rectification to minimize operational downtime.
• Handle cable laying, termination, earthing, testing and electrical equipment servicing.
• Follow HPCL safety guidelines, electrical safety standards and Permit-to-Work (PTW) procedures.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with plant safety regulations.
• Coordinate with HPCL officials, site supervisors and maintenance teams for daily work execution.
• Maintain daily maintenance records, inspection reports and electrical work logs.

Qualification & Skills

• ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institute.
• Minimum 3–5 years of practical experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Experience in petroleum installations, LPG bottling plants, oil terminals, refineries or similar industrial facilities will be preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical drawings, control panels, motor starters and industrial safety procedures.
• Valid electrical workman permit/licence or competency certification, wherever applicable.
• Ability to independently identify and resolve electrical faults.

Candidate Preference

Candidates with previous experience working at HPCL, IOCL, BPCL or other petroleum/industrial plants will be given preference.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
