Job Description – Construction Electrician

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation works in residential, commercial, and building construction projects.
• Install electrical conduits, trunking, cable trays, junction boxes, switches, sockets, and lighting fixtures.
• Perform electrical wiring, cable pulling, termination, and connections as per approved drawings.
• Install and assist with distribution boards, circuit breakers, and other electrical components within the candidate’s authorized scope.
• Coordinate with civil and MEP teams for concealed conduits, electrical openings, and other installation requirements.
• Read and follow electrical layout drawings, wiring diagrams, and site instructions.
• Assist with installation of earthing and grounding systems.
• Inspect electrical installations and identify wiring faults, loose connections, and other defects.
• Carry out basic electrical testing and troubleshooting using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Support testing, commissioning, and rectification works under the direction of authorized personnel.
• Ensure electrical installations comply with approved specifications and applicable safety requirements.
• Maintain electrical tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and other electrical safety precautions where applicable.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a clean and safe working area.
• Coordinate with the Electrical Supervisor and Site Engineer to complete work within project timelines.
• Report material shortages, installation issues, and safety hazards to the supervisor.

Pay: AED1,000.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
