The Opportunity

We are recruiting an experienced Electrician to join an established company carrying out electrical works across commercial buildings throughout London.

This is a permanent opportunity for a qualified electrician who takes pride in their work, has a strong eye for detail and wants to work for a company that values quality over rushing jobs.

The majority of work takes place in occupied commercial buildings rather than traditional construction sites. You will generally work in small teams of 2–3 electricians, carrying out electrical installation, maintenance, inspection and remedial works to a high standard.

There is typically plenty of overtime available, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to increase their earnings.

What Does the Role Involve?

• Carrying out electrical installation and maintenance works across commercial properties.
• Completing inspection, testing and certification where required.
• Diagnosing electrical faults and carrying out remedial works.
• Ensuring all work meets the required safety and quality standards.
• Working professionally in occupied buildings and around clients and building occupants.
• Working alongside a small team to complete jobs properly and efficiently.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship, tidiness and customer service.

What We're Looking For

Applicants must have:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
• A valid ECS/JIB Gold Card.
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
• At least five years' experience as a qualified electrician on commercial projects.

We're looking for someone reliable, hardworking and keen to get involved. You should be comfortable working independently when required, working as part of a small team and maintaining high standards without cutting corners.

Experience working in occupied commercial buildings would be particularly beneficial.

Pay: £55,000.00 per year
