Job Summary

ProElec Electrical Services Ltd is looking for a reliable, experienced and fully qualified electrician to join our team.

The successful candidate will carry out a variety of electrical installation, maintenance and fault-finding work across domestic and commercial properties.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, can work independently when required and is equally comfortable working as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out domestic and commercial electrical installations, maintenance and repairs.
• Install and upgrade electrical systems, including distribution boards, lighting, power and associated wiring.
• Diagnose electrical faults and carry out appropriate repairs.
• Read and work from electrical drawings, specifications and instructions.
• Plan and organise work efficiently to meet agreed timescales.
• Follow instructions and communicate any issues or proposed changes before proceeding.
• Work independently and use initiative when required.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, cleanliness and site safety.
• Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues and other trades.
• Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and health and safety requirements.

Essential Requirements

• Fully qualified electrician – NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
• Experience in domestic and commercial electrical installations.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Ability to maintain a clean and tidy working environment.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing.
• ECS Gold Card, (Not Essential)
• Experience with three-phase installations and distribution systems

Job Type: Full-time, permanent

Salary: Competitive, dependent on qualifications and experience.

Pay: £34,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
