Electrician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential electrical work, with a strong understanding of electrical systems. This role requires proficiency in using various tools, including voltmeters and ohmmeters, as well as a solid foundation in NEC standards. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Use voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other testing devices to troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Ensure compliance with NEC regulations and safety standards during all electrical work.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects to integrate electrical systems effectively.
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent failures or outages.
• Build and install electrical panels, circuits, and related components is a plus.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning electrical systems and equipment promptly
• Maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to safety protocols

Experience

• Experience in residential electrical work is also highly valued.
• Familiarity with using power tools safely and effectively in various environments.
• Strong understanding of NEC standards, electrical system installation, and maintenance.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other tradespeople

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.02 - $31.88 per hour
