Position Title: Electrician I

 

Employment Type: Full-Time

 

Work Location: Deland, FL (In-Person)

 

Compensation: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

 

Schedule: Day shift (8 hours), M-F

 

Brief Description: We are looking for an experienced electrician to work in a manufacturing setting at our Deland, FL location. Needed is a dependable individual who can multi-task with exceptional communication skills. This individual will need to be a team player. If you are a detailed oriented self-starter who can take initiative and prioritize and you have the required skill set and knowledge we want you!

Coastline Power Solutions is an industry leading specialty power systems integrator that services the power generation industry. Located in DeLand, Florida, we engineer and manufacture customized generator enclosures, fuel tanks, and trailers, as well as provide a full suite of other related products and services, including bi-fuel systems, Mitsubishi engines and parts, and more. We also integrate and facilitate the testing of all customer-supplied and third-party equipment, which enables us to offer convenient turnkey solution options. Our engineered products are installed in critical applications throughout the United States and internationally, serving government agencies, the military, police and fire departments, hospitals, assisted living facilities, schools, data centers, etc. 

 

Responsibilities:

• Installation of wiring, breakers, light packages, conduit, outlets, switch gears, high and medium voltage transformers, transfer switches, pipe bending, etc.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary fixes.
• Follow engineering plans, drawings and instructions.
• Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations, and maintain a safe and clean work area and tools.
• Various other duties as required, directed, or assigned.

 

Qualifications and Skills:·

• 1-2+ years as journeyman electrician preferred.
• 1-2+ years experience in manufacturing environment a plus.
• Knowledge of all relevant national and local electrical codes pertaining to the aforementioned tasks.
• Generator experience with various voltages a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and specifications, and to perform work therefrom or from other written or verbal instruction.
• May be required to pass employer performance tests or standard tests to meet certification standards.
• Must pass drug test.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic reading, math, and writing skills.
• Attention to detail and highly motivated.
• Ability to communicate and work well with others.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Ability to work overtime on occasion.
• Possess appropriate tools to perform job duties.

 

Physical Requirements:

• May frequently lift or move heavy weight material and work in difficult positions.
• Frequent mental and visual attention on an intermittent basis.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, kneel, lift, push and pull, work at heights, and in small tight spaces.
• Requires working under somewhat disagreeable conditions on a frequent basis where elements such as dust, dirt, heat, fumes, cold, vibration, noise, water or chemicals may be present.
