Electrician NWP

Job Overview:

Reading and Interpreting blueprints, technical diagrams and electrical code specifications to plan layouts. Troubleshooting electrical malfunctions, replacing faulty wiring and repairing electrical components.

Ensured all instructions complied with NEC, OSHA, and local codes to guarantee safety and compliance.

Responsibiliites: Using test devices (voltmeters, ammeters) to ensure system safety and functionality.

Proven ability to work independently, mentor apprentices and maintain compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.

Use specific electrical tools, Repair and replace wiring.

Read blueprints and schematics. Document repairs and modifications

Manage and mentore apprentice electricians

Diagnose and address functionality and safety issues. Inspect and test electrical systems, including fuses and transformers and circuit breakers.

Keep work areas clean, organized and safe. Respond quickly to breakdowns and emergency repair situations

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Minimum Educational Qualifications: Associate degree or High School Diploma

5 years experience in industrial work in factories, maintaining heavy machinery and complex high voltage systems

Other skills: Electricians are essential for ensuring electricity is delivered safely, avoiding hazards like fires and electrical shocks. Strong problem solving manual dexterity, technical knowledge of electrical theory and a commitment to safety.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 per week
