Electrician- Solar EPC

We are looking for an experienced Electrician(Solar EPC) to join our solar installation team. The candidate will be responsible for electrical installation, wiring, testing, and commissioning of rooftop solar systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation and wiring for rooftop solar PV systems.
• Install solar panels, inverters, AC/DC cables, DBs, isolators, earthing, and related equipment.
• Perform DC and AC wiring as per project requirements.
• Assist with inverter installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning.
• Conduct basic electrical testing and troubleshooting.
• Ensure proper cable routing, termination, labeling, and connections.
• Follow electrical safety standards and site safety procedures.
• Coordinate with the installation team for smooth project execution.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic electrical issues at project sites.
• Maintain tools and equipment and ensure proper housekeeping at the work site.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of relevant experience as an electrician.
• Experience in solar PV installation will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of basic electrical wiring and connections.
• Familiarity with AC/DC systems, electrical panels, earthing, and cable termination.
• Ability to use basic electrical tools and testing equipment.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
• Ability to work at heights and in outdoor/site conditions.
• Good teamwork and a responsible attitude.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in rooftop solar installation.
• Knowledge of solar inverters and electrical protection systems.
• Basic troubleshooting skills.
• ITI/Diploma in Electrical or a related qualification will be an advantage.

Salary: As per experience and skills.

Location: Thripunithura, Cochin
