Electrician with COC

The purpose of this position is to ensure the safe, efficient, and effective installation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems, equipment, and components within the organization. The Electrician will be responsible for minimizing downtime, maintaining compliance with electrical safety standards, and supporting the continuous operation of facilities by providing reliable technical expertise and hands-on maintenance services.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Planning and organizing stock and inventory for the entire business including projects.
• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit, using measuring instruments and hand tools.
• Trace out short circuits in wiring, using test meter. Strip insulation from Wire ends, using wire stripping pliers, and attach wires to terminals for subsequent soldering.
• Examine electrical units for loose connections and broken insulation and tighten connections, using hand tools,
• Construct controllers and panels, using power drills, drill presses, taps, saws and punches.
• Install copper-clad ground rods, using a manual post driver,
• Erect electrical system components and barricades, and rig scaffolds, hoists, and shoring
• String transmission lines or cables through ducts or conduits, under the ground, through equipment, or to towers.
• Solder electrical connections, using soldering iron, Thread conduit ends, connect couplings, and fabricate and secure conduit support brackets, using hand tools. Erect electrical system components and barricades, and rig scaffolds, hoists, and shoring.
• Issuing COC certificate for all Electrical installation done.

Minimum Qualification Required

• Grade 12
• Trade tested Electrician.
• COC.

Minimum Experience required

• 3-5 years in electrical and telecommunication environment,
