Overview

Due to recent expansion of workload we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical experience and be capable of performing a variety of electrical tasks across mainly domestic and commercial settings. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to utilise their expertise in a professional environment, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained at all times. The successful applicant will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, contributing to the smooth operation of our facilities.

Duties

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with current regulations and safety standards.
• Diagnosing electrical faults using hand tools and power tools, then executing effective solutions promptly.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to carry out installations or repairs accurately.
• Conducting routine inspections to identify potential issues before they escalate, ensuring ongoing safety compliance.
• Collaborating with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
• Ensuring all work areas are kept clean and organised following health and safety protocols.
• Assisting with the testing of electrical systems to verify proper operation post-installation or repair.

Experience

• Proven electrical experience within a domestic & commercial environment is essential.
• Experience operating power tools including drills, saws, and cable cutters is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of current electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations is vital for ensuring compliance.
• Prior experience reading technical drawings and schematics will be advantageous.
• A recognised qualification in electrical installation or maintenance (e.g., City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3) is preferred but not mandatory for highly experienced candidates.
• 2391 preferred but not essential
• Must have experience in domestic rewires and kitchen rewires
• 18th edition

The correct individual will also be put through the solar and battery course due to a few large solar projects kicking off towards the end of the year.

Plenty overtime available throughout the rest of the year

Pay: £25.00-£37.50 per hour
