Job Purpose

To ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment within the factory.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Have strong practical knowledge of 3-Phase electrical systems, including Star-Delta and Direct-On-Line (DOL) starters.
• Handle electrical panels, MCC panels, distribution boards, breakers, contactors, relays, timers, and overloads.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults in production machinery and factory equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Check and maintain motors, pumps, compressors, generators, and other electrical equipment.
• Have knowledge of motor wiring, control circuits, power circuits, and electrical protection systems.
• Identify and resolve issues related to voltage, current, phase failure, short circuits, overload, and earthing.
• Check and maintain single-phase and three-phase connections.
• Read and understand electrical wiring diagrams, circuit diagrams, and control panel drawings.
• Ensure proper cable sizing, termination, insulation, and safe electrical connections.
• Maintain and troubleshoot sensors, switches, limit switches, proximity sensors, and basic control devices.
• Conduct regular inspection of electrical panels and machinery to prevent breakdowns.
• Follow electrical safety procedures and ensure proper use of PPE.
• Maintain records of electrical maintenance, breakdowns, and repair activities.
• Coordinate with the maintenance and production teams for timely resolution of electrical issues.
• Perform any other electrical maintenance duties assigned by the management.

Technical Knowledge / Specifications

• Strong knowledge of 3-Phase AC electrical systems.
• Knowledge of 415V / 380V three-phase systems and 220–240V single-phase systems.
• Knowledge of Star-Delta, DOL, and motor control circuits.
• Knowledge of MCB, MCCB, ELCB/RCCB, contactors, overload relays, timers, and relays.
• Basic knowledge of VFD/inverter operation and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of electrical testing tools such as multimeter, clamp meter, insulation tester/megger, and test lamp.
• Knowledge of electrical earthing and electrical safety standards.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to troubleshoot industrial machinery electrical faults independently.

Qualification & Experience

• DAE / Diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant industrial/factory electrical experience.
• Experience in garment/textile or manufacturing industry will be preferred.
• Strong practical knowledge of industrial electrical maintenance is essential.

Pay: Rs45,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month
