Electro-Mechanical Technician

PTR – Precision Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team in Enfield, CT. The Electro-Mechanical Technician will serve as an in-house service technician, with a focus on assisting in the manufacturing of electron beam welding machines as well as monitoring and maintaining machines in our Job Shop to reduce downtime and increase consistent operation.

Responsibilities

• Perform layout and wiring of panels/consoles/power supplies.
• Wires machines, builds harnesses, tests transformers, and performs wiring inspections for quality control.
• Provides RMA support.
• Occasional travel to customer sites may be required (role is primarily performed in-house at our Enfield, CT plant).
• Performs routine/preventive maintenance and unplanned emergency repairs.
• Troubleshoots repairs and installs replacements as required on machines to ensure minimal downtime.
• Performs all duties in compliance with safety guidelines.
• Performs other duties as necessary or assigned.

Skills

• Experience in soldering.
• Intermediate to advanced electrical skills.
• Proficient with hand tools.
• Basic computer skills (including Microsoft products).

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
