About us: QC Electronics builds corona treatment systems for the packaging industry — the equipment that makes ink and adhesive stick to plastic film. We've been family-owned in Portage since 1988. Our machines ship all over the world, and they're built here by a small crew, start to finish.

The work: Our assemblers build complete machines — reading the print, wiring the panel, machining and fitting the parts, and crating the finished unit.

Day to day, you'll:

• Read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and BOMs to assemble units to spec
• Run cable, tubing, and wiring; position and fit parts to tolerance
• Measure with micrometers, calipers, and verniers
• Do basic milling on a vertical machine; operate the jib crane and waterjet
• Crate and prep finished units for shipping
• Keep your bench, your tools, and your work in good order
