Electromechanical Assembler

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electromechanical Assembler to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Duties

• Assemble electromechanical components using hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment according to detailed blueprints and schematics
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings to ensure accurate assembly of products
• Solder surface mount technology (SMT) components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) with precision and adherence to IPC 610 standards
• Build electrical panels by wiring components, installing terminal blocks, relays, circuit breakers, and other electrical devices following schematic instructions
• Perform mechanical assembly tasks such as fitting parts, mounting components, and verifying alignment using measurement tools like calipers and ohmmeters
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues during assembly by applying engineering troubleshooting techniques on electro-mechanical components
• Conduct quality inspections throughout the assembly process to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards

Requirements

• Proven experience in electronics assembly, electrical wiring, or electromechanical component assembly in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of PCB fabrication processes, surface mount technology (SMT), soldering techniques, and IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and testing instruments such as ohmmeters for electrical testing
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical panel building, and engineering troubleshooting methods is highly desirable
• Experience working with electro-mechanical components including motors, sensors, switches, and wiring harnesses
• Ability to follow blueprint specifications meticulously while maintaining safety protocols in a fast-paced environment
