Electromechanical Technician

Overview

We are currently hiring an Electromechanical Technician for our client based in RIDC Park just outside of Pittsburgh. Due to 20% growth in business, our client is adding a full time Electromechanical Technician to perform troubleshooting & maintenance of laser & dot peen marking machines used for industrial applications. This is a direct hire, first shift position working in a clean, air conditioned facility with the starting hourly pay rate of $21.00 - $25.00/hour or more based on experience, plus health insurance, 401k, paid vacation etc. Below are additional details.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, mechanical & optical troubleshooting, repair & maintenance.
• Perform startup, testing & calibration of new and/or repaired systems.
• Read electrical schematics & blueprints as needed for repairs & modifications of systems.
• Document all repairs & services performed.
• Travel to customer sites to perform preventative maintenance of systems as needed.

Requirements

• Technical training in Electromechanical repairs and/or 1-3 years of experience as a Repair Technician
• Strong knowledge of electrical & mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints or technical diagrams.
• Willingness to travel out of state as needed (10% travel)
• Valid drivers license and must pass a background check.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
