Electromechanical Technician

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electromechanical Technician to join our dynamic Custom CNC Machine Build Team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, troubleshooting, and repair of complex electrical and mechanical systems within our manufacturing facility. Your expertise will help maintain high standards of equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency, supporting our commitment to operational excellence. Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, using schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems using multimeters such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and troubleshoot high voltage and low voltage circuits with precision.
• Diagnose and repair industrial equipment including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), motors, drives, sensors, and control panels.
• Conduct equipment diagnostics utilizing technical analysis skills to identify root causes of failures and implement effective solutions swiftly.
• Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future inspections.
• Read electrical blueprints, schematics, and engineering troubleshooting documents to guide repairs and modifications accurately.
• Perform welding tasks when necessary for equipment fabrication or repair projects.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to high voltage systems, electrical maintenance, and industrial mechanics.

Requirements

• Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility environment with a strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices.
• Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics, equipment troubleshooting, and electrical systems repair.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial mechanic principles.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters effectively.
• Skilled in welding techniques ; experience with field service operations is a plus.
• Valid certification in industrial electrician work or equivalent experience in electrical maintenance.
• Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately for troubleshooting or installation purposes.
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with analysis skills for diagnosing complex machinery issues.
• Capable of troubleshooting pneumatic systems and performing equipment repairs efficiently.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
