Electronic Assembler

Job Title: Assembler II

Location: Dexter, Michigan
Shift: 2nd Shift – 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Assembler II to perform electronic and mechanical assembly operations in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should have at least2 years of experience in electronic assembly, medical device assembly, or a combination of both.

Shift Training Requirement: Candidates must complete at least two weeks of training on the 1st shift before transitioning to the regular 2nd shift schedule (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM).

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform repetitive and non-repetitive assembly of components, subassemblies, and finished products.
• Follow visual aids, diagrams, schematics, layouts, and written assembly instructions.
• Use hand tools and other equipment to assemble and prepare products according to specifications.
• Perform continuity checks and verify that assemblies meet quality standards.
• Inspect products during the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test assemblies or prototype components as needed.
• Support manufacturing operations, including equipment operation, processing, packaging, and other production activities.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, defects, or production issues.
• Maintain accurate work practices while following established manufacturing and safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in electronic assembly, medical device assembly, or both.
• Ability to read and follow assembly instructions, diagrams, and schematics.
• Familiarity with hand tools, assembly equipment, and quality inspection procedures.
• Ability to perform continuity checks and identify assembly defects.
• Willingness to train on the 1st shift for at least two weeks before moving to the 2nd shift.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
