Civan Advanced Technologies develops and manufactures high-power single-mode lasers with dynamic beam shaping for industrial material processing. Our electronics are designed in-house.

The role

We are looking for an experienced Electronic Engineer to join our board design team and take designs from schematic to production.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop analog and digital circuits
• Perform circuit design, bring-up, debugging and integration
• Run simulations (power, EMI, thermal)
• Generate detailed design documentation and BOMs for complex printed circuit boards
• Work with engineering teams to optimize layouts for performance, cost and manufacturability
• Optimize designs for high quality, low cost and mass production
• Support troubleshooting on the production line and during integration

Requirements

• BSc in Electrical Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in hardware board design
• Experience in analog and power electronics design (DC/DC topologies, analog circuits)
• Proven experience with hardware bring-up and debug, including software and firmware integration
• Experience with OrCAD Capture CIS and Allegro
• Ability to independently learn, investigate and implement new technologies
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Advantage

• Experience with high-speed board design, FPGA, DDR4, microprocessors

Location

Jerusalem, on-site. The position is open to all genders.
