Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically competent Electronics Engineer to join our Research and Development team in the Meter Laboratory. The successful candidate will support the testing, evaluation, troubleshooting, and development of electrical metering products, ensuring product accuracy, reliability, safety, and compliance with applicable technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research, testing, and evaluation of electrical energy meters and related metering equipment.
• Perform laboratory testing, measurements, calibration support, and technical analysis of meter performance.
• Assist in the development, improvement, and validation of metering products and testing procedures.
• Troubleshoot technical issues involving electronic circuits, meter components, and measurement systems.
• Analyze test results, prepare technical reports, and document findings and recommendations.
• Support product quality investigations and identify opportunities for product improvement.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, testing instruments, and technical records.
• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams on product specifications and technical concerns.
• Ensure compliance with applicable electrical safety requirements, testing protocols, and quality standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering (BSECE).
• Preferably a Licensed Electronics Engineer (ECE), although qualified non-licensed graduates may be considered depending on the role requirements.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; relevant laboratory, testing, or R&D experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of electronic circuits, electrical measurements, instrumentation, and basic electronics troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with electrical energy meters, metering systems, calibration, or laboratory testing is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and technical documentation.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of interpreting technical data and test results.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willing to conduct hands-on laboratory testing and learn new testing methods and technologies.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively with the team.
