Electronics and Integrated Systems General Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Electronics and Integrated Systems General Manager to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.

This leader will oversee a business unit with full ownership of financial performance, operational execution, and strategic direction. The role will partner closely with cross-functional leaders across multiple sites to drive alignment, strengthen customer relationships, and support long-term growth. It is a highly visible position focused on building a strong leadership team, improving organizational effectiveness, and guiding key business decisions. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience leading complex electronics or technology-driven operations in a defense, aerospace, or space environment.

Location: Phoenix, AZ - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $225,000 – $325,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Own business unit P&L and financial performance metrics, including revenue and profit
• Create an attractive environment for talent retention and engagement
• Build and sustain a trustworthy business unit leadership team
• Lead cross-functional teams across multiple operating sites
• Collaborate with other business unit general managers to minimize siloed operations
• Provide oversight and direction to key functional areas
• Guide business financial strategy, including pricing and contract negotiations
• Strengthen and nurture customer relationships through proactive engagement
• Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with broader initiatives
• Contribute to cross-group strategic decisions and communicate business strategy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a technical discipline; MBA preferred
• 15+ years of leadership experience in electronics manufacturing or related technology sectors
• 5+ years in a strategic leadership role
• Direct P&L leadership experience in the Space, Defense, or Aerospace industry
• Ability to hold or receive a TS/SCI clearance
• Capacity to lead multi-site operations through change
