Electronics Assembly Technician

Job Overview

Synapse is seeking an Electronics Assembly Technician to join our production team. As an Electronics Assembly Technician working on Synapse SimplySnap products, you can look forward to:

Collaborating with a skilled and integrated team across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality assurance to build and deliver high-performance hardware solutions.

Playing a key role in assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electronic components used in our SimplySnap systems for applications such as Site and Area Lighting, Sports Lighting, Warehouses, Industrial, Retail, and Commercial environments.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components and systems according to engineering specifications and production schedules.
• Perform visual inspections and functional tests to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Identify and troubleshoot assembly issues, reporting defects and suggesting improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities and test results.
• Support inventory management by tracking component usage and reporting shortages.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to refine assembly processes and improve efficiency.

Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in electronics assembly or related manufacturing roles.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
• Familiarity with soldering techniques, PCB handling, and ESD safety protocols
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Experience with basic testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes) preferred.
• Team-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and collaboration.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
