What they need

We design and manufacture the electronics that make robots move, listen and see: brushless motor controllers, remote control systems and video transmission technology. Everything is designed by our own engineers and built in-house in Hong Kong.

We need an electronics engineer who can take a circuit from a blank page to a finished board. You’ll design the schematic, lay it out in Altium, bring it up on the bench and see it into production. If you want to hand your schematic to someone else to route, this isn’t the role.

We’re hiring at any level. Juniors work alongside senior engineers and get real boards to own early. Seniors own the densest, fastest designs and set the standard. We don’t have managers and we don’t have approval chains.

What You’ll Do

  • Design analog and digital circuits: power supplies, sensor front ends, processor and memory subsystems, video and radio interfaces
  • Capture schematics and lay out your own multilayer boards in Altium Designer
  • Route dense, high-speed designs: fine-pitch BGAs, length-matched buses, controlled-impedance differential pairs
  • Select components with cost, availability and manufacturability in mind
  • Bring up your boards on the bench with a scope, a logic analyser and a soldering iron
  • Work with firmware engineers on bring-up and with mechanical engineers on fit, cooling and connectors
  • Define stackups and design rules with our fab vendors
  • Produce complete release packages, then walk onto the production floor and fix what went wrong in the next revision

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • A degree in electronics engineering or a closely related field, or the experience to make that irrelevant
  • Real schematic and layout work in Altium Designer that you can show us: shipped products, or serious personal and school projects if you’re junior
  • Solid analog and digital fundamentals. You can read a datasheet, do the maths and explain why your circuit works
  • You understand why a layout works electrically: return paths, current loops, impedance, thermal
  • Hands-on debugging instincts. If you can’t probe and rework your own board, you’ll be frustrated here
  • Working English, Cantonese or Putonghua

For senior candidates:

  • 5+ years of electronics design, with your own boards taken into volume production
  • Complex, dense boards behind you: HDI, fine-pitch BGA fanout, 8+ layers
  • Signal and power integrity know-how that you’ve applied, not only read about
  • You’ve worked directly with fab houses on stackups and impedance control

Bonus points (experience in one or more of these is a real plus):

  • High-speed memory design: DDR/LPDDR routing, high-density BGA breakout, fly-by topologies and timing budgets
  • Camera design: image sensors, MIPI CSI-2, low-noise sensor power
  • Digital video circuits: HDMI, SDI, MIPI DSI, LVDS, video encoders and SoCs
  • UAV electronics: flight controllers, ESCs, power distribution, RF links
  • RF design or layout
  • Flex or rigid-flex experience
  • SI/PI simulation tools

Why Join Us

  • Whole-board ownership. Schematic, layout, bring-up and production. Your design, start to finish.
  • You see it built. Your boards come off our own line, and you can hold the finished product.
  • Hard boards. High speed, high density, high current and RF, often all at once.
  • No hierarchy. Flat structure, high trust, zero politics.
  • Room to grow. Level and pay follow your ability, not your years.
