Job Summary:

The Intake Specialist primarily supports the intake and processing of donations from the public. This position combines hands-on engagement with donors and the public.

Key Responsibilities:

• Donation Intake and Processing
• Serve as the first point of contact for donors, assisting with donation drop-offs and answering questions about accepted items.
• Inspect donated technology to determine suitability for reuse or recycling.
• Support the intake process though organizing items for refurbishing by department.
• Facilitate the transfer of materials out of intake into the recycling room or other departments.
• Track incoming donations to support data collection and reporting.
• Maintain an organized and safe donation intake area.
• Collaborate with volunteers and staff to ensure smooth workflows in the intake and processing areas.
• Ensure safe and secure handling of all materials that may have customer data on them.
• Facilities cleaning as assigned - Sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, etc.
• Work with the other staff to document and refine criteria that determine which items are sent to the store, the workshop, or the recycling room.

Additional Responsibilities:

● Supporting shared staff responsibilities such as assisting in the upkeep, organization and cleanliness of the FGTC workspace.

● Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Part-time

Base Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
