Electronics Electrician

About the role

The Electronics Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, electronic equipment, and related components across company facilities, restaurants, and other assigned locations. The role ensures that all electrical and electronic systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably while complying with company standards and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, circuits, lighting systems, outlets, switches, and electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and electronic faults in equipment, control panels, and related systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize equipment breakdowns and operational disruptions.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical installations and electronic components to identify potential hazards or defects.
• Assist in the repair and maintenance of kitchen equipment, refrigeration units, motors, pumps, and other electrically operated equipment, as assigned.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, wiring schematics, and technical manuals.
• Ensure that all electrical work complies with applicable safety standards, electrical codes, and company procedures.
• Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and materials used.
• Coordinate with the Engineering and Maintenance Team regarding repair schedules, equipment concerns, and technical requirements.

About you

• Graduate of a vocational course, technical diploma, or relevant program in Electrical Technology, Electronics Technology, or a related field.
• At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Knowledgeable in electrical wiring, circuit testing, electrical tools, and basic electronic components.
• Familiarity with motors, control panels, circuit breakers, relays, contactors, and electrically operated equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical schematics.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and electrical safety practices.
• Experience in restaurant, commercial, hotel, or facilities maintenance is an advantage.
• NC II certification in Electrical Installation and Maintenance or an equivalent qualification is an advantage.
• Capable of performing maintenance tasks, including climbing, lifting, and working in assigned areas, when necessary.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
