ELECTRONICS ENGINEER

About the role

This role involves setting up, testing, and commissioning electronic, electrical, or electromechanical equipment and automated systems. You will diagnose faults, repair broken circuitry or hardware, and perform routine maintenance on electrical systems. You will configure industrial automation, PLC programming, Wi-Fi networks, and control systems, while reading electrical schematics, creating Method of Procedure documentation, and enforcing safety and government regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, test, and commission electronic, electrical, or electromechanical equipment and automated systems
• Diagnose faults, repair broken circuitry or hardware, and perform routine maintenance on older or active electrical systems
• Configure industrial automation, PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming, Wi-Fi networks, and control systems
• Read electrical schematics and create Method of Procedure (MOP) documentation
• Enforce safety and government regulatory standards

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics Technology
• Valid PRC license as an Electronics Engineer (ECE) or Electronics Technician (ECT) is preferred or required depending on company policy
