Responsibilities

• Support engineering teams with the development, assembly, modification, troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance of electronic hardware for vehicle testing.
• Assemble, rework, inspect, and repair multilayer circuit boards, PCB assemblies, and automotive-grade wire harnesses using industry-standard connectors.
• Assemble and wire electrical control panels and operate engineering test benches, industrial rack systems, and common laboratory equipment.
• Maintain and improve electronics laboratory operations, including tools, equipment, inventories, prototype hardware, workspace organization, and equipment tracking.
• Coordinate component purchasing, prototype hardware intake, inventory replenishment, and outbound shipments of test fixtures and related equipment for our client’s engineering teams.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on professional experience in electronic product assembly, prototype hardware development, and functional verification or testing.
• Strong soldering, component rework, electronics repair, microscope inspection, and electrical troubleshooting skills; mechanical assembly experience is desirable.
• Proficiency with digital multimeters, power supplies, electronic loads, mechanical hand tools, electrical schematics, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Strong technical documentation, communication, collaboration, computer, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Preferred experience includes safety-critical or automotive electronics, PCB design with Altium or KiCad, CAD tools such as Altium Designer or SolidWorks, Jira, Confluence, and Linux.
