Electronics Instructor

Share your excitement of aviation with the next generation of technicians! PIA's Pittsburgh campus is hiring for a fulfilling Electronics Instructor position that allows you to give back while enjoying great daytime hours and no weekend commitments!

Salary Starting at: $60,000

Schedule: Regular hours

• Monday-Thursday 7:00am to 3:50pm
• Friday 7:30am to 11:30am

Qualifications And Skills Minimum Requirements:

• 3+ years of verifiable industry experience (aviation or military aviation preferred)
• Associate degree or higher in Aviation Maintenance, Electronics, or related area
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification preferred but not required
• We provide training for new faculty members, so teaching experience is ideal, but not required.
• Familiarization with computers for using teaching software and email.
• Experience with basic electricity
• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities and Duties

Faculty members conduct classroom presentations; guide students in the laboratory for hands-on instruction and practice; manage laboratory equipment and inventory; and evaluate student performance. A full job description will be provided during the interview process.
