Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Electronics Manufacturing Engineer with strong experience in electronics manufacturing and process engineering. You will work closely with contract manufacturers and global stakeholders across Malaysia, China, Scotland and Mexico.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize and improve manufacturing processes, production flow, tooling and equipment utilization.
• Support PCBA assembly, electrical assembly and product testing.
• Lead process validation, manufacturing transfer and new process implementation.
• Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing issues.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Provide technical support and guidance to contract manufacturers and suppliers.
• Drive supplier process improvements and manufacturing readiness.
• Manage multiple engineering projects and improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and international stakeholders.
• Present technical findings, recommendations and project updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

• 4–5 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience.

• Strong background in Electronics Manufacturing.

• Hands-on experience in:

  • PCBA Manufacturing
  • Electronic Components
  • Electrical Assemblies
  • Product Testing
  • Manufacturing Process Development

• Experience in Medical Device or other highly regulated industries such as Electronics or Aerospace.

• Knowledge of medical device regulations and regulatory compliance.

• Experience working with Contract Manufacturers / Suppliers.

• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.

• Practical experience with Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma.

• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.

• Fluent in English and Chinese to support China counterpart

• Willing to work in Batu Kawan, Penang.
